What this House 13 calculator actually does

Dread Forge has not published a survival-rate formula, drop table or official odds for House 13. This page does not pretend to have them. It takes the numbers you already saw in your own session and turns them into one readiness score, so you can see which habit is costing you runs.

  • 1. The Reacher (Badge 1594464231618439): Window can be shut right up until it climbs through.
  • 2. The Hitcher (Badge 2411742504410368): Return to an illuminated room before darkness time runs out; no official darkness timer exists.
  • 3. The Nester (Badge 3208271310595683): Close closet doors while inside; if a room is claimed, stay out or rapidly flash flashlight beams.
  • 4. The Whistler (Badge 936532269988598): Stay inside while it whistles; run back into the house if it spots you.

The four rules above are the parts that are officially stated. Everything the tool computes from your inputs is an editorial estimate, and it will need recalibration if Dread Forge changes the mechanics.

Night survival readiness check

Score your last House 13 run from your own numbers. Enter the mode you played, the night you reached, how long you left the windows unchecked, how long you stood in an unlit room, and how much flashlight charge you had left. Higher is better. This is player input scored against the official badge rules, not an official House 13 probability.

Night readiness score (higher is better, editorial estimate)68.5

Readiness starts at 100 and loses points for mode pressure, night depth, unchecked windows, time spent in the dark, and a drained flashlight. The weights are an editorial model built on the official badge rules; they are not extracted from game code and will need recalibration if Dread Forge rebalances the threats.

Calibration Notice:
  • Editorial estimation: Scores are heuristic risk indices, not official mathematical probabilities.
  • Player-observed inputs: Parameters rely on unverified community reports, not extracted server logic.
  • Version sensitive: Requires recalibration after game balance adjustments or mechanic updates.
